JeetBuzz roulette: reading the wheel and the layout

Roulette rewards players who read the layout before the wheel turns. This page covers how a spin unfolds at a live table, what inside and outside bets mean, and which table details to check before placing a chip.

THE SPIN

How a roulette round unfolds

A round opens with a betting window. When the dealer calls no more bets, the ball is sent around the wheel against the direction the wheel turns. The ball settles on one numbered pocket, and that result decides every bet on the layout. The studio shows the outcome on screen and the table then clears for the next round. Some live roulette tables offer repeat-bet options, so check the table panel to see whether this one does.

LAYOUT

Inside, outside and the wheel

Roulette bets fall into two families. Inside bets sit on or close to individual numbers and pay more for a narrower chance. Outside bets cover larger groups such as colours, odd or even, and dozens, and pay less for a wider chance.

  • Straight-up bet

A stake on one number. It pays the highest rate on the layout and wins the least often.

  • Split and street

Stakes across two or three neighbouring numbers. They sit between a single number and the outer groups, both in payout and in how often they land.

  • Red or black

An even-money outside bet on a colour. It wins a little under half the time because of the zero pocket, which is why the layout matters.

  • Dozens and columns

Groups of twelve numbers that pay about twice the stake. Each group covers roughly one third of the pockets, so the chance is about one in three.

House edge on the roulette layout
ODDS

House edge on the roulette layout

Each roulette bet carries the casino's built-in margin, and the green zero pocket is the main source of it. Over many spins that margin is what the house keeps. It is set by the wheel and layout in use, not by any single result, so a number that has not come up for a while is no more likely to appear next.

  • Zero pocket

The green pocket that tips even-money outside bets in the house's favour.

  • Spreading a stake

Covering several groups does not remove the margin. It only changes how often you win and by how much.

  • Repeat bets

Where a table offers repeat options, they copy your previous layout. They change the pace of play, not the margin.

NEED HELP

Wheel questions and support

Customer support runs around the clock for account and payment questions. If a question concerns a spin you watched, note the table name, the time and the stake before you write in.

  • Round-the-clock team

Support is staffed 24 hours a day, so a question can be raised whenever a session ends.

  • Email if support cannot be reached

Write to info@jeetbuzz.com with your username, the table name and the time of the spin.

CHECK THE TABLE

Before the first chip goes down

A roulette table shows its limits, its layout and its payouts. Those three things settle most questions about what a bet can win, so read them before you choose a stake.

  • Table limits

Check the minimum and maximum bet displayed on the layout before you place a chip.

  • Payout labels

Read the payout shown beside each bet type so you know what a win returns.

  • Session budget

Decide how much you will spend on the wheel and stop when that amount is reached, whatever the last spin did.

WHEEL TERMS

Roulette words you will hear

The wheel and layout use a small set of terms. These four come up on nearly every table, so it helps to know them before the first spin.

What is an inside bet?

A stake placed on or close to individual numbers on the layout. It pays more than an outside bet and wins less often.

What is an outside bet?

A stake on a larger group such as a colour, odd or even, or a dozen. It pays less and covers more pockets.

What is the zero pocket?

The green pocket on the wheel that is neither red nor black and is not counted as odd or even. Its presence sets the house margin.

What is the betting window?

The period when bets are accepted. Once the dealer calls no more bets, the wheel spins and every stake is settled on the result.

QUICK ANSWERS

Roulette questions answered

Short answers on the wheel, the layout and the account points that come up most often.

Which bet pays the most on the layout?

A straight-up bet on a single number pays the highest rate, and it also wins least often. Check the payout label on the table before staking.

Is a red or black bet a safer choice?

A colour bet wins more often than a single number, but it still carries the house margin, so it is not a guaranteed result.

Can I play roulette on my phone?

Yes. Open the casino in the mobile browser or use the Android APK from the JeetBuzz website. Only one device can stay signed in at a time.

Do past spins predict the next one?

No. Each spin is independent, so a number that has not appeared recently has no higher chance of coming up next.
